USERS REVIEWS:

This heater is really correct in maintaing the set temp. I have tested it a number of instances against a digital thermometer with memory. With each and every test, the heater has maintained the set temp. to inside of .5 degrees, plus or minus of the set temp. These tests have been performed on 8 hr. time frames.

The remote is really straightforward to use &amp is an impt. upgrade, simply because it makes it possible for you to location the sensing gadget @ any place in the space away from the heater. This gives a considerably more correct temp. throughout the space.

The air circulation potential of the vornado heaters is pretty wonderful. it really circulates the air throughout the area as advertised. It functions slow but effectively.

The heater has been utilized for most likely 48 hrs. of run time. Hopefully, it is tough adequate to maintain its existing functionality more than a lot of yrs.

I have two of the vornado VH2 heaters which each failed in the course of the 1st winter of moderate use. I purchased the EH1 heater only right after finding out that Vornado will pay shipping to return the two VH2 heaters to the factory for free of charge warranty repair &amp will ship back to me @ no expense. The EH1 also has the free of charge return policy but has a 2 yr. instead of the 1 yr. warranty identified on the VH2. Warranty information. that came with the VH2 &amp EH1 all say that the client has to spend to ship the item back to the factory and then contain for them to ship it back to you. this is basically a worthless warranty and in my phone to Vornado, they said that they now pay shipping each techniques on all of their heaters.

Bought January 5th, died January 28th. The touch panel illuminates and shows the proper temps, but neither the heat nor the fan turns on. No funny burning smell either. We use it in our 2 yr old’s bedroom at evening, so about 12 hrs each night for three weeks to retain the temp at 73. It hasn’t been quite cold here, all around 60-65 in his modest 9′x9′ room without having the heat on at night. Also, the unit is made in China.
I known as Vornado and they’re doing the repair for completely free, shipping included. Hopefully the repaired or replacement heater will be far more dependable.

update: Right after 2 months or so of employing the replacement unit, everything is functioning effectively. I would rate customer service five stars because they are really friendly, helpful, and in the US.

update two: the replacement one particular is broken now less than 1 year later. Heat fires up fine, but no fan. Off to get yet another replacement from Vornado. Once again, consumer service is Very Great, five stars again. If only their flagship heater could final a lot more than 1 “winter” here in California, which is not that cold at all.

This heater promises a lot, and is undoubtedly on the high-priced side for an electrical heater. The remote is non-intuitive, and appears to demand numerous button presses to get the heater to respond. The remote’s display shows you the latest temperature, but not the temperature that you have set the thermostat to — you have to look on the heater itself to see that. It is also easy to adjust the heat setting (reduced, large, fan-only) with no realizing it, unless of course you’re hunting at the heater’s display while you are using the remote. All that stated, the heater is quiet, and does a excellent job of heating the space. The automobile-off right after a set amount of hrs is a great feature.

But right here was the actual problem for me — the heater failed following one particular week of use. We stepped out of the area for a few minutes, at a time when the heater was not heating, but was nevertheless turned on, and came back to a slight electrical odor in the air. The heater was now off, and pressing the “on” button did practically nothing. I verified that it was the unit and not a circuit breaker in my house. Thankfully, I can return this item to exactly where I purchased it within 30 days for any explanation. Even though I have the substitute of getting a replacement, I do not assume it is worth the threat. The producer has a two-year warranty, but warranty service demands mailing the unit cross-country at my expense, PLUS a shipping and handling fee to get the unit returned to me. I do not want to get yet another and have it fail 31 days following I get it, so this one particular is going back. Too poor, because I actually like the idea! But poor implementation and apparently poor reliability (sample of one) kills it for me. Not proposed.
