Fits my Braun ten-cup coffee maker completely. Looks sturdier than the authentic that came with the coffee maker. Markings on sides are wonderful since it is clear how numerous ounces every mark denotes, which I was never ever certain about with the authentic. My only complaint is that the lid does not come off really swiftly to place it in the dishwasher, but it will come off with a bit of wiggling. Do not waste your money on the brand-name carafe.

When I opened the box for this carafe, I identified a properly created product. Very good clear paint for the measuring lines and high quality glass with no sharp edges. I also discovered the placement of the measuring lines far more logical – it would be less complicated to study while filling. The way the lid attaches to the handle feels a bit flimsy compared to my Krups carafe, like it would slide about whilst carrying liquid.

My complaint is with the description of this product on Amazon. It is obviously listed as fitting Krups model 171, which it does not. I verified this against the product description on the maker’s own website and they make no mention of this carafe fitting Krups model 171. Prior to purchasing this item, I recommend you search above their “fits list” on their net site: [...]

I do not know no matter whether this mistake lies with Amazon or Medelco. I am just bummed I stay carafe-much less.

Will not Match SDC2A Black &amp Decker Spacemaker. Located this advertised on other websites as replacement carafe for Black &amp Decker Spacemaker SDC2A so I ordered from Amazon like I do. Looked a little modest when it came. The coffee ran all more than the counter and wood floor. The Pot is measured in 4 oz cups and the Spacemaker five oz cups so there’s an additional 10 oz that will not fit in carafe. NOT A SPACEMAKER REPLACEMENT. Charges almost as considerably for return shipping as the pot costs so it’ll go to Goodwill.
