My wife loves her cats (multiple), and her dogs (also many) she largely tolerates the youngsters and me. This winter my allergies had been reaching vital mass. My wife gave me this Air Purifier for our room, as a Christmas present, and it has been remarkable. One particular side note, the device puts out a excellent deal of white noise, personally, I like that, as it assists me sleep, other people might locate it annoying. My next step is to get them for every other room.
I highly suggest this item.

This unit worked fine for about a year, then it just died.
Whilst it was worth the price for the service it did present, I was a bit disappointed in the durability.

The tower arrived and the initial factor I noticed is that it was wobbly. Then the directions listed all the things you had to do for it to operate safely – a particular distance from the wall, the possibility it could stain the floor under it, could not be on an extension cord, could not be in a lavatory – which is where I wanted it so it could deal with litter box odor. I continued setting it up as directed, removing the filters from the plastic, and so on. Then it mentioned to run it for a small while on high just before adjusting it, so I did – I thought. Soon after about 20 minutes, I attempted turning the very noisy fan down, only to discover that it was currently on the lowest setting. (I could hear it at the opposite finish of the home when it was on low!)

So, it makes far too considerably noise, is extremely unstable and could effortlessly fall over if bumped, it may stain your floors, and needs to be really close to an outlet, even even though it can’t be against a wall. The selection is yours!

FYI, I returned mine and was charged the postage for it. Excellent Luck!

This assessment is however incomplete, since the unit was so noisy to me (even on the lowest setting) that I ended up returning it to the retailer within a few hours.
The unit seemed to have all the features I was seeking for, I am going to try another (various) Honeywell model with similiar features in the store and see what the noise level is.
