I should admit, when I 1st heard of these immersion frothers, I was extremely skeptical. I had tried many frothers, cappuccino machines with developed in frothers (work fantastic 1st 2 times, then they always clog) and plunger frothers (can you say carpal tunnel syndrome??) and so forth. Soon after much time AND a lot effort, there was really little reward, virtually no froth and significantly aggravation, not to mention cleanup. I tried the plunger varieties repeatedly to the point in which I was certain I’d have blisters. Did I mention obtaining to disassemble &amp clean all the frother components soon after? )

So started my quest for an effortless, powerful way to obtain cappuccino type froth for my morning java. I searched java junkie message boards and decided to give the Aerolatte a try. I could not have been far more astonished and pleased.
This small gadget runs on 2 AA batteries (incorporated) and comes with a metal counter stand so it is effortlessly accessible. I unboxed it and gave it a whirl, seemed sturdy and surprisingly quick. Now for the coffee check. Hmmm. So I brewed a pot (french press) of powerful coffee and poured a small half &amp half in my mug and let ‘er rip. All I can say is Amazing!! I was absolutely shocked at how speedy and simple the Aerolatte whipped it into froth. Seriously, comparable to the froth from Starbucks. I could not believe it.

The guidelines suggest skim or reduced body fat milk, which also frothed up just as thick and wealthy. Wow!!!! When you are completed, run the unit beneath underneath the faucet or in a cup of water to clean. Unbelievably cool that you produce the froth proper in your coffee mug. Easy as that, no extra equipment to clean.
Be brave, experiment a little. I favor heating my mug with sugar &amp half &amp half in the microwave for 30 seconds, froth for about 30 seconds &amp pour in coffee. Voila Coffee property quality cappuccino and no pots or tubes to clean. Pretty spectacular!

Facts: Gotta admit, the stand that arrived with mine is cool to appear at, very higher-tech, but poorly designed &amp a tad annoying as you need two hands to eliminate the frother or put it back in. Ok, but not perfect. Luckily, Aerolatte should have realized this, as they have since redesigned the stand &amp replaced with an even cooler (hopefully more functional) style.
The battery life is outstanding (at least four weeks of every day use), however I would advocate investing in rechargeable batteries and charger, as the unit is considerably much more efficient and faster with robust batteries.
My 1st Aerolatte burned out after a little more than a year of heavy usage. I loved it so significantly I purchased another. The price is fair as my unit was packaged with the unit, stand and matching shaker for toppings (cinnamon, cocoa, and so forth)

1st time, I did not even know what I was performing but I was ready to make massive volume of great foam (very fine and creamy) from Aerolatte. I personal a Briel cappuccino maker with milk frother/steam wand. It steams milk well but call for Barista degree skill to make excellent froth! I also personal a Bodum pump which demands way as well a lot power. Aerolatte is my most favored tool to froth milk now. It works well with each cold or hot skim milk and really quick (ten-15 seconds). Sorry about the video, that was my 1st time using it with no prior practice. I can master it in less time now. Milk froth tastes a little airy (not as very good as employing steam wand) but still far superior than making use of hand-pump.
